About Tommy Doyle’s at Harvard Square

Tommy Doyle’s in Harvard Square opened it’s doors in 2005 in the historic Hyde-Taylor house. The building was once the site of the original “House of Blues.” With historic shoes to fill, we have committed ourselves to providing proper live music, nightly entertainment, and quality food & drink for the Harvard Square community.

Since opening our doors we have become a staple of Harvard life.  Three floors with a little something for everyone.  Relax or host your next event in the Crimson Lounge, our underground cocktail and craft beer cave.  Then, mosey up to our pub floor, and grab a bite with some friends, play our jukebox, or watch the game.  Then move up to the Loft, where our dining room transforms from sporty pub to live music club and dance hall.  Whatever your mood, there is always a place for you at Tommy Doyle’s.
